Creative writing tutor and illustrator Ian Nettleton will guide you through the process of creating your own characters and stories inspired by My Neighbour Totoro. Draw along with Ian in this live session, and you can send us your storyboards after the session and see them posted online!

This will be an open online event, no need to book in advance. Join us over on our YouTube Live at 10.30am.

Join in from 11am to watch MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO with Netflix; a film by beloved Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki. While spending a summer in the Japanese countryside with their father, two young sisters befriend mystical creatures who live in the nearby forest.

This event was programmed by Film East, a group of Young Film Programmers based at Norwich Theatre’s Stage Two.

Young Film Programmers is a group of 16-30 year olds who meet regularly to increase their knowledge of independent film and to programme, plan, market and present regular screenings and events. Find out more here
