Young Norfolk Writing Competition showcase

Sunday 11 July, 6-7pm

We’ll be announcing the winners of the Young Norfolk Writing Competition 2021 in this very special showcase curated by the National Centre for Writing’s Lit From the Inside group.

Each year we look for the freshest, boldest new writers and wordsmiths aged 11-18 in Norfolk to submit their work to the Young Norfolk Writing Competition! Entries range from poetry and prose, to lyrics and songs, scripts, podcasts, plays and articles.

Young Norfolk Writing Competition is a partnership between Arts Council England, Norfolk County Council, Norwich UNESCO City of Literature, Young Norfolk Arts and the National Centre for Writing.

Please note that due to Covid-19 restrictions this is an invite only event – but we will be filming the showcase to share online. You can find our updated Covid-19 guidance here
