The Flowin and Glowin Festival
is a fantastically exciting day of events, a celebration of all things menstrual and equality in our community, with a special focus raising awareness and funds for refugees living with period poverty. This celebration includes Feel Good Zumba, Flow & Glow Yoga, Will Power’s Family Drag Bingo, as well as live music, stand up comedy, life stories, face painting, fun refreshments and lots more still to be announced.
This youth led project has been planned by the Taverham Community Ambassadors, in partnership with staff from The Garage, with the aim is to take social action and to make change within their community. The Community Ambassador Programme (CAP) is held at Taverham High School, and the group decide to support and raise awareness about two topics they’re very passionate about – period poverty and the refugee crisis.
