In light of the government announcement we just wanted to reach out and reassure everyone that this year’s Festival will be going ahead as planned, launching on the 8 July!

The programme has been put together with the current Covid-19 restrictions in mind – with a reduced capacity for any indoor events, exhibitions and workshops. Extra stewarding and supportive measures will be in place for our outdoor events and activities.

We have been working away to create a Festival that is safe for everyone attending and working, and we can’t wait to see you there……

Social Distancing

We will have staff and stewards at outdoor events such as our Lost River Stage and TOAST Summer Party to help ensure social distancing. All indoor events will adhere to the venue’s capacity restrictions to ensure maintaining a 2 metre distance wherever possible. Some seating will be in place and arranged within social distancing measures.

Track & Trace

For indoor workshops we ask that all attendees register in advance and provide their contact details. We will also have the NHS Test and Trace QR codes in place at any Festival venues for visitors aged 16 and above. If you do not have the NHS app you can download it here. YNA staff and volunteers will be taking contact details if you do not wish to, or are unable to scan the QR code – details will only be passed to Test and Trace where requested and not shared with anyone else.

Please do not attend Festival events or workshops if you or a member of your household have any symptoms, have recently tested positive for Covid-19 or have been asked to isolate.

Face Coverings

Face coverings/masks will be required at indoor venues and workshops, and we also recommend using them for outdoor venues where possible, unless you are exempt. We will have some disposable face coverings if you forget to bring your own. All staff and volunteers will wear face coverings at indoor events unless exempt.

Children under the age of 11 are legally exempt from wearing a face covering. For family friendly events such as our Lost River Stage and TOAST Summer Party we request that adults are there to supervise their children and support social distancing outside of your household.

Sanitisation

We will have sanitiser available at all indoor events and workshops, volunteers will also have sanitiser available at outdoor events. All venues will have procedures in place to remain properly sanitised and cleaned.
