SOUNDS OF THE CITY

For this year’s Lord Mayor Celebrations, we are delighted to have co-curated Sounds of the City, taking place in Chapelfield Gardens, that will showcase an eclectic mix of local musical talents, poets, dance and circus troupes.

The Young Norfolk Arts Collective has selected some of the most exciting young performers from Norfolk, performing across three stages. The Open Air Stage will be hosted by drag diva Isla White and see performances from Kuiper, JULIET, Lilac and The Lara Price Band. The dreamy Bandstand we host music from Giraffe, Rabbit and Fox and Erin Elizaa and lighting up the dancefloor is DRILLAZ Circus and Avian Dance. Poets NB and Ankita will be opening the Voices of the City Stage.

Later in the evening our friends from Wild Paths Festival will be curating the Sounds of the City mainstage that will leave you dancing all the way home.

Tastes of the City will serve up the finest selection of tasty treats, from Bao Buns to Burgers, Seafood to Sundaes, with an array of food to suit all tastes.​
